Family Care Counseling Center emphasizes biblical
principles as the foundation for understanding and explaining human behavior.
We believe that a personal, vital knowledge of Jesus Christ is essential
to salvation and must be the foundation of all Christian counseling.
We seek to follow the example of Jesus in ministering to the spiritual,
emotional and relational needs of people in the Brandenton-Sarasota area.
Our practice includes biblically based individual,
family and group counseling for
marriage and family conflicts, depression, anxiety and
stress, parent-child conflicts, grief and loss, anger and guilt, codependency
and addiction issues, premarital counseling, divorce counseling, financial
counseling, vocational guidance, psychosomatic disorders, sexual abuse
and sexual addictions, spiritual guidance, and problems of church
leaders and pastors.
Biblical principles and professional therapeutic
methods are applied as indicated to enable our clients to explore options
and make decisions in an attempt to meeting existing needs and live through
the struggles and disappointments of life.
The services available through Family Care Counseling
Center are
individual counseling, group therapy for men, women teens
and children, marriage and family therapy, counseling for children and
teens, personality testing, vocational testing, behavioral testing, group
seminars, workshops, and expert custody testimony.
We are pleased to work through local churches or
pastoral referrals, and we also welcome clients who come to us directly.
Our staff consists of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist, and Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselors.
