Who
is Family Care Counseling?
The counselors at Family Care Counseling are committed to bringing Godly
hope to those who are hurting, hopeless, fearful and abandoned. This
is an inter-denominational program which accepts referrals from the church
pastor, physicians, lawyers, institutions and private businesses.
Family Care Counseling is an outreach ministry of Living Word of God Ministries,
Inc., 890 N. Boundary Ave., Suite 102, DeLand, Florida. The counseling
center is located in an office building to allow all denominations to feel
comfortable utilizing the Christian counseling services. Family Care
Counseling has been established in serving the community since 1995.
When in counseling, Christian clients are encouraged to take advantage
of their own church programs. The best support group available to
Christians is within their own local church.
Most people do not realize they have been genetically coded in the womb
by God with a unique temperament and gifted uniquely to fulfill the plan
of God for His Kingdom. At Family Care Counseling, we administer
a Temperament Analysis Profile which enables the counselor to share with
the counselor his/her unique individuality.
This counseling ministry is here to help the individual and family reconcile
to themselves, one another and to God. All Biblical counseling is
based on the redemption of every human being to the cross of Christ(Jn
1:12). The Bible reveals what we need to know to live according to
God's plan. The purpose of Christian counseling is crisis intervention
and the strengthening of Christian character and values.
